Manage chronic fatigue with these gentle, non-draining movements

When you’re under the 5-ton weight of chronic fatigue, the last thing that you want to do is to move your body. However, you intuitively know that some gentle, easy movements might help resolve the stiffness and stagnation you feel from being in reclined positions for so long. But, where and how to start?

Unlike most exercise or movement practices, this short practice does not guide you through a linear way of moving. Instead, it provides opportunity and space for you to explore what movements feel best at the moment.

Is it just moving one leg and foot for 1-2 minutes?

Or simply stretching your hands open and close a few times?

Perhaps a bit of squirming around on your bed/couch/floor?

The practice highlights what I call the Intuitive Movement practice, where you tap into your own body’s wisdom to move and stretch in ways that feel right, that feel good, and that won’t deplete you further.
